Overview

The Australian Government is seeking feedback on reforms to the Australian Domestic Gas Security Mechanism (ADGSM) that will commence 1 April 2023. The reforms will:  

  • make the ADGSM more responsive

  • ensure enough gas is kept in Australia to meet domestic demand

  • protect long term contracts.

We are seeking your views on the draft guidelines which will implement these reforms.
