Overview
We are undertaking a review of innovation metrics. The aim of the review is to develop a suite of metrics that more fully capture innovation and thereby support better decision-making in Australia.
To date, we have consulted with over 50 innovation system organisations and experts who have identified gaps, issues and opportunities for innovation metrics. We are now opening consultation publicly, to acquaint innovation system stakeholders with our progress to date, and to provide a broader range of stakeholders with the opportunity to contribute to the Review. The aim of this first public consultation is to ensure that all the key issues have been identified and to seek feedback on the relative priority of these issues.
Why we are consulting
Information gathered from consultations will inform the development of the Review's final report and recommendations. While all input to the Innovation Metrics Review is welcome, we are particularly interested in feedback concerning the key messages that have emerged from the consultations to date, and any messages you or your organisation believe are important which have not yet been raised by others.
