2023 offshore greenhouse gas storage acreage release: nominated areas for comment

There is nothing beneficial whatsoever about these ridiculously costly, ludicrous, environmentally destructive & totally unnecessary offshore greenhouse gas storage acreage release plans in the nominated areas of Bonaparte Basin, Browse Basin, Northern Carnarvon Basin, Perth Basin, Otway Basin, Bass Basin, Gippsland Basin. Also areas of NSW, VIC, SA, and TAS coastlines.

The Government is required instead to be focussing on providing the Australian people with the essential service of reliable affordable power.
Dumping the Paris Agreement & the WEF’s ESG agenda must be a priority instead of this foolish waste of public money - as their evil consequences are destroying Australia’s environment, economy, food security, independent energy security, national
security & causing unconscionable, unjust public health & safety risks, contamination of our life sustaining food resource land & water sources, causing severe energy poverty, a cost of living crisis, suffering, hardship & likely potential death from hyperthermia.

There are severely detrimental impacts for aboriginal people & their cultural heritage, to the environment, other marine users (like tourism and fishing industries) and communities as these plans are the Antithesis of ‘Caring for Country.’

The National Offshore Petroleum Titles Administrator (NOPTA) would no doubt end up being as hopeless & useless as the AEIC & all Government decision makers - devoid of any genuine consideration of Australia’s land, water, biodiversity, ecological habitat, iconic landscapes & human beings - with no robust assessment process - ensuring permits are awarded to incompetent, dodgy people who are incapable, incompetent and irresponsible in managing their activities and do not meet regulatory obligations because they only care about money for their own Fake Green Grift & Ponzi Scheme/Scam.
