The Minister for Resources considered all feedback to inform the final decision to release an area for work-program bidding.

A total of 10 areas have been released as part of the 2023 offshore greenhouse gas storage acreage release.

Critical feedback has also been included in the Australian Government gazette notice inviting applications for a release area.
