Privacy Collection Statement

The department is conducting a consultation process to inform a review of the Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman (ASBFEO).

The department is bound by the Australian Privacy Principles outlined in Schedule 1 of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), which regulates how we may collect, use, disclose and store personal information. 

The department will collect from this consultation your personal information, including your name, organisation, job title, email address, comments and opinions to inform a review of the ASBFEO and make recommendations to the Minister responsible for small business to improve the effectiveness of the organisation. Your submission will be published on the department’s consultation hub after the review process and may include your name and organisation. All submissions, including your personal information will be shared with Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu and its personnel working on the Review. This information will also be shared with the Head Reviewer for the ASBFEO Review. Your personal information will not be used or disclosed without your consent, except as set out above or where authorised or required by law.
