Do you think the regulations could be simplified? - If yes, please specify:

The challenge is to strike the balance between cost to suppliers and the rights of customers. If simplifying the rules allows the information on imported products to be hidden then the consumer loses.

Better to require the imported products to be re-labeled in country of origin; which would simplify the process and reduce costs.

Costs would be lower as markings could be added before packaging in a lower cost country. This would be reduce compliance costs to auditing only; simplifying government involvement.

Could the exemptions to the regulations be expanded (or reduced)? - Please specify:

I don't see why there should be any exemptions. The only winner is the is the distributor who can cut his costs without concern for the consumer.

Exemptions only encourage avoidance.
