Overview

The Australian Government introduced the Australian Domestic Gas Security Mechanism (ADGSM) in 2017 to ensure there is sufficient gas supply in the domestic market.

The government has brought forward the scheduled review, which will assess whether the ADGSM remains fit for purpose to deliver the desired market and investment outcomes.

Terms of Reference

Submissions should follow the review's Terms of Reference. These are based on those within Division 6, Regulation 13.GG, of the Customs (Prohibited Exports) Regulations 1958.

Consultation sessions and next steps

Details on stakeholder consultation sessions will be confirmed soon.

We will provide our report on the ADGSM review to the Minister by the end of September 2019.
