I am a frequent visitor to this area.

Presently it is remote and one of the few remaining pristine sections of coastline in Victoria. It has significant potential as a tourism and marine permaculture area. These activities would not pose any risk to the local marine and coastal environment.

The expansion of oil and gas development in this area poses a significant risk to tourism, commercial fishing, marine permaculture and the environment.

There has been no consultation in relation to this release and there is no support for it in the local area.
