Thank you for inviting comments on the 2019 Offshore Petroleum Exploration Acreage Release.
Telstra International Networks operates multiple international cables from Australia including from Perth-Singapore and Sydney-Hawaii and Sydney-Guam.
The most recent cable is INDIGO WEST which has been laid Perth-Singapore and will enter service about May 2019. The route of INDIGO WEST is not impacted by the proposed Acreage Release.
To avoid interruption to Australian International Communications via submarine cable, it would be appreciated if you could keep me advised via email of all developments with the Acreage Releases at Philip. Murphy@Team.Telstra.Com
