Overview

The National Measurement Institute (NMI) has been working to revise the Sampling and Test Procedures for Prepackaged Products.

The coverage of proposed revisions includes:

  • incorporating new test methods for linear and area measurement
  • expanding the range of products for volumetric measurement tests
  • allowing flexibility in recording test results
  • amendments to enhance clarity of test procedures and facilitate internal consistency.

As part of this process, we are seeking feedback from stakeholders in relation to the Sampling and Test Procedures for Prepackaged Products – First edition, third revision.
