The Automotive Engineering Graduate Program

Closed 19 Mar 2018

Opened 19 Feb 2018

On 8 May 2017, the Government announced the $100 million Advanced Manufacturing Fund. The Fund aims to boost innovation, skills and employment in advanced manufacturing. It will support the transition of Australia’s manufacturing sector from traditional processes to high value products in areas of emerging strength.

As an important element of the Fund, the Department of Industry, Innovation and Science would like to seek your ideas to help shape the Automotive Engineering Graduate Program.

The Program will provide scholarships for students to pursue careers in automotive engineering and design. The development of highly trained graduates will assist in maintaining Australia’s advanced manufacturing capabilities by maintaining the pipeline of skills into the sector, including the supply chain of the major global automotive manufacturers.
