The Department of Industry, Science and Resources is undertaking a targeted consultation with stakeholders about the Green Aluminium Production Credit in the green metals industry.

As part of this consultation, the department is collecting some personal information about you. This may include your name, organisation, contact details, position title, and any views or comments you choose to provide.

Purpose of Information
Your personal information will be used solely for the purposes of reviewing submissions, engaging with you where clarification or follow-up may be required, and informing the development of relevant government programs or policy advice.
Use of Information
The department is bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and will manage your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) and the Department’s Privacy Policy.
Your personal information may be shared with relevant Australian Government agencies and external consultants or the Minister’s Office for the purposes of analysing responses or seeking clarification or further feedback related to the consultation. We will not use or disclose your personal information for any other purpose without your consent, unless authorised or required by law.
All personal information collected will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and stored and retained in accordance with the Archives Act 1983 (Cth).
Submissions made through this consultation are securely stored in cloud-based environments using technology provided by Converlens Pty Ltd, which manages the department’s Consultation Hub on its behalf. Contracted providers must handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and departmental security requirements.
