Overview

We are seeking feedback on draft grant opportunity guidelines for the Critical Minerals Accelerator Initiative (CMAI).

The CMAI helps projects attract investment and overcome barriers to growth. It supports early and mid-stage critical minerals projects in Australia’s strategic supply chains.

These projects will promote investment and job creation in regional Australia.

The draft guidelines outline:

  • eligibility criteria for participants and activities
  • draft assessment criteria
  • application process
  • help ensure the CMAI achieves its objectives.

These draft guidelines are for consultation purposes only. The department is only seeking comments from industry to assist with the design and delivery of a potential grant opportunity process. Potential grant recipients should not rely on draft grant opportunity guidelines as being an indication of any future grant opportunity process.

Any future grant opportunities will have grant opportunity guidelines published on GrantConnect. Any future guidelines may differ from anything published for consultation on the Consultation Hub, including the eligibility and assessment criteria.
